FEAR

The elusive group of people who only recently made themselves known. Groups of human, armed with cutting edge technology, capturing both Hunters and Vampires. They usually strike in small groups, nonlethaly bringing their target down.

FEAR had been working, underground, for some time before their decision to come to New York City. Scientists writing theories and practicing upon synthetics and replicas. It was eventually deemed that their research needed to be taken to the feild. Training began immediatly in the arts required to collect their needed specimen.

Unknown to everyone, these captured souls are the subjects of intense genetic testing, deep underneath New York City's streets. Just as Vampires and Humans are being tested upon, they are also both doing the testing.


The intentions of FEAR are manyfold, varying from department head to department head. The three sought after and funded most heavily are as follows; transferring Vampire immortality onto a Human without the unpleasant "undead" side-effects, increasing Human capabilities by splicing Vampire genes, and reversing Vampirism. Of course, many other, smaller projects are underway. But those are classified.

There are two sides to every coin, and FEAR is no exception. While there are soldiers and researches operating in this organization, there are also the subjects of their tests. Many subjects die, a result of failed testing. But there are those that survive. Some take their changes as a gift, welcoming them and using them in benefit of FEAR. Others are filled with agony and rage, seeking nothing but the destruction of FEAR and their own escape from the facility.

All subjects have a tracking chip inside their flesh. It cannot be felt, is non-metallic, and is otherwise unnoticeable. This is FEAR's manner of tracking their subjects, in the even that they escape or are 'set loose'.
