 valkyrie, california. the sparkling city that sits two hours south of los angeles. it's the city that you would want to raise your family in, because you've been raised here, your parents, and so on. you can't seem to leave without it's pull bringing you back in. on the outside, it's a pretty picturesque place to live. you're by the ocean, the downtown is a flashback of what the city must have been like in the 1800s mixed with the invasion of industrial tech. but no matter how much darker it gets with the growing crime rate, you love it here. your friends are here, your family, your stories.
january 7th, 2012 changed everything though when a 7.5 earthquake hit the city. the valkyrie you once knew has been completely destroyed. you haven't heard your friend in days, your apartment is completely trashed, and there is a huge hole in the middle of your street. suddenly you're being interviewed by local and national reporters asking you how you feel seeing your city completely destroyed. you just can't believe it. as you watch police officers and firefighters pull people from the rubble, you know the destruction on valkyrie was for the better.... or for the worse.
