VAMPIRES LAWS !
These laws, originally implimented by the Aranai, exist to ensure the protection of Vampires and their ways.
Do Not Expose Vampires To The World
This is the only law that still holds merit amoungst most Vampires today. This means slaying or siring all Humans who witness you (though Hunters are a sort of grey area), not leaving any traces of yourself or your crimes for any human to notice, and no human relationships. All but the Drakken hold this law in high regard, as many of the Drakken care little for anyone but themselves.
The Aranai take this law very seriously. Should someone break this law, the Aranai take it to a personal level, and feel it necessary to both correct the scene and take revenge upon the law breaker.
Do Not Feed In Anothers Territory
[/b]Meant more to be a sign of respect than a law. This is also to prevent Vampires from infracting upon the previous law in anothers territory as a set-up. This rule is respected by few apart from the Aranai and the Teryn.
Respect The Wishes Of A Coven Leader In Their Territory
[/b]This law was designed as a final measure to keep other Covens from interferring in important internal affairs. This rule is often ignored.
Attend To What You Sire
[/b]Another measure to help prevent Vampires exposure. When one sires a human, they are expected to take the newborn to their Coven instead of leaving them to fend for themselves, as newborns are often wild and dangerous to everyone.[/justify]
This law is well respected, not for its protection of Vampires, but because it is the best method of bolstering numbers of a Coven.
