Drakken are one of the older Covens of Vampires, found all across the world. Drakken are known to all as cruel, vicious, and powerful fighters.

What makes a Drakken easily distinguishable from other Vampires are their physical deformities. Some of these deformities they are sired with, part of the infection that spreads with the bite. Many are battle scars worn like proud trophies, while many others, are willing deformities. Body parts are torn, stretched, burned and marked to create a hideous figure, and a more potent fighter. Most Drakken are walking marvels of imperfection - a complete terror to behold. Their appearance is much more that of a monster, than a Vampire. These imperfections in the eyes of others are distinguishing characteristics of power within the Coven.

These deformities are not limited to to flesh. Rare as they may be, there are those who are mentally deformed. These creatures are extremely malicious and dangerous, feared even by their own kind. Where a Drakken still has a sense of reason and understanding, these few are beyond all hope. They are often but not limited to being sadistic, masochistic, sociopathic and nihalistic. Some of them even have an appearance much more similar to a regular Vampire, granting them a deadly disguise.

Drakken seek physical perfection (though others would argue differently) and power. Always seeking a challenge, always seeking a fight. Most are quick to anger, especially when insulted.

Drakken numbers are waning within the city of New York. Their appearance is a dead give away to who they are, resulting in easy hunting. The Drakken also rarely leave their prey alive to turn, instead choosing to feast upon the body until there is nothing left. These two factors are resulting in heavy blows to their numbers.

Drakken are easily the most physically strong of the Vampires, a result from shunning technology, even in the most basic forums. Drakken are rarely found with more than simple clothing. When it comes to combat, the reason why many Drakken feel they exist, they keep it simple. Weaponry are about as rare as manners during a fight, though improvised projectiles are not unheard of (such as throwing a car or a bench). Drakken use their overwhelming size and strength to their advantage in attempts to knock their foes down or crush them altogether. Drakken also rely on cheap tactics and scare tactics to give them any edge in combat, and any advantage is a good advantage to a Drakken.

The Drakken symbol is one that all Drakken wear proudly, often burned or carved into the skin of their backs, forearms, or even faces.

Their stronghold is a long forgotten prison, located on Roosevelt island. Inside, blood spatters nearly every surface as a result of constant sparring matches and gruesome feeding rituals.
