MOUTH AND NOSE BENEATH THE SURFACE
MOUTH AND NOSE BENEATH THE SURFACE
EYES: Blue.
HAIR:Xak has yet to find the right hairstyle. Even as a human his hairstyle would change every weekend. His hair is rarely the natural brown color and even when it is, he has some strange way of styling it. He probably owns more hair products than the average woman and he could care less. Recently he shaved his hair into a mohawk, then dyed it blonde. Currently though, Xak has grown tired of the blonde and decided to dye the tipspinkpomegranate.
WEIGHT: 150 lbs
HEIGHT: 5'11"
APPEARANCE:Eccentric is the only way to describe Xak's closet. He's quite concerned with his looks and takes pride in his appearance. While his apartment is almost bare, his closet is not. Though his outfits can be a bit strange, he does dress casually .His style changes weekly and his new style just depends on the mood he's in. It's a little difficult to take Xakery seriously with his pink Mohawk and he's typically just plain happy. Even when he's serious, his blue eyes seem to be sarcastic and mocking. He's a bit on the scrawny side but that's not to say he doesn't stay in shape. Keeping himself looking that good isn't easy, which makes him quite proud of his looks and he's not afraid to show it off. His outfits usually separate him from the crowd and not necessarily in a good way. Unlike most guys, Xakery is quite conscious about what he wears and pays close attention to his fashion. Usually his outfits consist of t-shirts, sleeveless shirts, a jacket or vest, jeans and tennis shoes. He almost always carries a pair of sunglasses around, even though he doesn't need them. Other than his sunglasses, his only accessories are the few bracelets he may wear or necklaces. He has no piercings, but does have one tattoo on his left forearm. It is a plain X,with two circles around it.
WEAPONRY:If there's one thing Xak tries to avoid, it's violent situations. He can defend himself well enough, but when push comes to shove, Xak would rather walk away. For this reason, he only carries a pocketknife with him and generally only uses it to open the boxes when sorting books in the library.
EQUIPMENT:Typically Xak only carries his wallet and phone. Also, he almost always seems to have a pair of sunglasses with him.
ABILITY:N/A
if ever brave enough to stand in their way

PERSONALITY
Xakery can only be described as different. Though he can come off as shy, it seems almost impossible to catch him without a smile on his face. He gives off a very innocent and naive look. There are only a handful of people that Xakery consider his enemies. His friendly nature doesn't seem capable of registering anyone as hateful. It doesn't matter if Xak gets put down, he still considers that person a friend. He enjoys being the one people go to for advice when needed. After being turned, Xak has slowly removed himself from society and would much rather be antisocial. His sire abandoned him and he still doesn't quite understand how to deal with the turning. He spends most of his time in the library or in his apartment.[/blockquote]
It's quite difficult to anger Xak but one of his pet peeves is people bothering him while he reading. He doesn't mind helping people out but when someone tries to talk to him while he's reading, Xak comes off as cold. Still, if someone's annoying, Xak will simply pick up his books and walk away. If there's one thing Xak doesn't understand though, it's women. He's had a few relationships but in all of them, the girl has to be the one to come up and tell him that she likes him. Otherwise, Xak is completely oblivious to them. A come on just seems 'extremely friendly' to him. Most of the time though, Xak doesn't feel right and will end the relationship. He has a hard time feeling like he fits in. If Xak does something hurtful, more often than not, he had no idea.

PLACE OF BIRTH: New Orleans, Louisiana
RESIDENCE: Has a small one bedroom apartment by the library
HISTORY:
Xakery was born into a carefree life. His parents never pushed him to do anything and they never expected anything from him. Xakery's father made a simple living running a bookstore along with his mother. From the first day, anything Xakery wanted to do was his own choice. Whenever anyone would question their parenting, Xakery's parents would simply reply "it's his life." It was this freedom that his parents gave him that allowed him to find who he was faster than most kids. The family lived in a small apartment by the bookstore, but they usually barely made the rent or had the money to pay bills, so they set up their home in the back of the bookstore. He would spend every day in the store with his parents and brother. Though he couldn't read the books, Xak would use them to make forts (much to the dismay of his father) and keep himself entertained. His older brother would attempt to read stories to him, but both of them would usually end up making their own stories. Xakery's brother would draw and Xak would narrate the stories. Together, they filled endless sketchbooks and often resorted to drawing on the walls.[/blockquote]
By the time he was ten, he had read every book in the store even though he probably didn't understand half of them. Things had started to go wrong in the family though. Business in the bookstore wasn't doing as well and the income was starting to decline sharply. His father started drinking and his mother started yelling. Xakery's parents got into more frequent and louder fights that even the neighbors started complaining. Whenever their parents got into one of their debates, Xakery would hide under the covers with his brother. The two of them would make up adventures, worlds away from their apartment. It was the only way to drown out the fighting. Soon before Xakery's eleventh birthday, his parents split and his mom took the two kids to New York City. The adjustment to their new life was different. The divorce left Xak in a new city with his brother as his only friend. When it came time to go to school, Xak was frightened of the other children. He spent his time trailing behind his older brother and reading books in the library. In high school though, Xak slowly began coming out of his shell and talking to people. Still, the only way he knew how to make friends though was to be incredibly friendly.
By the time he graduated, Xakery was just like every other kid. He had gone through his rebellious stage and done the things a normal teenager would. Still his grades were high and he managed to gain admission to NYU. While there he studied psychology.
