APPEARANCE:

Kara is not like some of the more old fashioned vampires that you see wearing black. She usually wears colorful more up to date fashions, mostly dresses and skirts. But when she is working, she usually wears a dressy shirt and slacks. Her hair usually is in different hairstyles when one visits her, usually curled, pinned up, or even in a small hat. However, one thing never changes when she wears a skirt or a dress, she wears stockings.

When she meets with her clan however, her appearance looks more vampiric than her usual colorful dresses. She wear a black and red strapless dress. The top half being a red corset while the bottom is a more black lace skirt that goes to the ground. Always wears the necklace of her clan.

WEAPONRY:

Growing up in the Teryn clan, weapons and the sort were looked down upon, but due to those after Teryn blood, she usually hides a small handgun that she hide in the inside of her stockings, or if shes wearing pants or shorts, she usually hides it in the band of her pants where it's against the arch of her back. However when she meets up with her clan, she usually leaves it at her home.

EQUIPMENT:

Usually something simple like a phone or maybe a purse, to sort of blend in.

ABILITY:

The ability to read other people's minds, but it is restricted. The only way of her being able to read though is when she is touching the skin of the person. A quick touch is a small memory where if she was holding someone for a very long time, she would know their entire life.

PERSONALITY

Kara as a person is actually a very calm and centered person when one first meets her, but how she acts while that person is around is completely up to the person. If the person seems to have a sense of humanity and intelligence, she is a very kind and nurturing person. However if the person is hostile, or shows any threat towards her group, she grows cold and eventually will stop talking to them.

As the leader of the Teryn, Kara is almost the mothering figure of the coven. Unlike the other covens, she cares for her members and is open to their thoughts of any situation the group is in. Some of her own members have been saved by her. When faced with danger the leader would actually put her life before her clan, which is viewed as foolish by most people. She lives by her belief that the clan can prosper, even if she is killed. It is the members that make a clan, not the leader. The leader is only there to help guide them..

PLACE OF BIRTH: Right in the middle of the London, England.
RESIDENCE: Kara resides in her business, using the upstairs as a home while the downstairs is her office. However when she is needed, she will go to her clan, but this is not often. Upstairs look like a normal apartment, except with alot of papers piled up and scrolls lying around.
HISTORY:

Born into the heart of England and into the arms of an upper class family, Kara was the answer to the Aldridge's prayers. After Patrick was born, they had wanted a girl, but for many years, it didn't happen until Patrick was seven.

Growing up, her parents tried to spoil the girl with dolls and dresses, but oddly, Kara never became spoiled, which made a lot of men fancy the young teenager. For many years, her parents tried to find her a proper suitor, but unlike most people during the time, they cared for their little girl, they didn't want to pair her up with some older man. When she came to the age of twenty seven, her parents explained it was time for her to be married and how they had found someone to court her. The next day, they introduced Kara to her future husband, Owen, who she immediately fell in love with.

As her parents planned the wedding, the couple grew more in love every day, until a month before the wedding, Kara's first tragedy happened. The young couple were walking home for the night, until a mugger came, trying to rob them. Owen, who was trying to protect Kara, tried to fight off the mugger, until he was shot, instantly killing him, and before she had anytime to react, Kara was shot a well before the mugger looted them and ran off.

As she lied on the ground, dying, she saw an older man approach and look at her with great sorrow, before her vision hazed and blacked out. What seemed like seconds later, she woke up to an incredibly sharp pain which lasted forever it seemed, until she blacked out again. Once she woke up, she found herself in an unfamiliar place, until she found the old man from before. He explained what had happened and what he had to do, what she was now. She listened closely, realizing the man saved her life, and allowed him to take her under his wing.

While she stayed with the old man, she came to think of him as a second father as he taught her many things like there were more than one clan of vampires, and how they were the non-violent ones, or the Teryn. He also explained that due to him siring her, she would become the next leader, before he explained that he was the current leader of them. Soon after that, Kara found out that he picked her because when he was human, he lost a daughter, which she reminded him so much of.

After learning her new duty, she accepted the fate and allowed the older man to teach her many things, finding out because of the clan, she could never forget and could always learn. This fascinated her as she read so many scrolls, she lost count. Before she knew it, many years had passed.

Her human memories flooded back to her as she sat in a chair and she asked the old man if she could visit her family. Fortunately, the man allowed her, only if he came along so she was protected. After returning to London, she located where her family, only to find her father, now elderly. Apparently her mother had died in her absence and when Owen was found, Patrick refused to believe his sister was dead so he set out to find her, but they never saw him again, so he was assumed dead too. Whatever peace Kara had wished to see wasn't here. She stayed with her father for a while, before kissing him one last time before she departed with the old man. She found out a year later, he died to a disease.

When she was done grieving, the old man said it was time for her to meet the clan and to return to the clan home, which was located in the states. Kara agreed to this and in two days, they were already in the United States. Once coming into the city of New York, she noticed all the new things and asked what year it was, only to find out that it was 1983. More than a hundred years had passed by so quickly. She quickly took the history of what happened up like a sponge, and before she know it, twenty seven five years had passed. In those years, the old man told her that it was essential that she blended in, so she easily received her doctors in Psychology and started her own business

In the year of 2008, the old man told her it was time. Kara, who was confused, learned that the old man was handing the title of clan leader over to her and explained that she was ready for this. He explained he was the clan leader of England, so he couldn't govern over the United states and England, so he made her his successor. After telling her to keep the clan safe, the old man explained that he viewed him as his own daughter. After hugging and kissing the top of her head, he left again for England.

Two years had passed since then, and she had managed to keep her promise to the old vampire, but recently, she had seen that vampires and humans have been going missing. She plans to figure out what is going on in her home and to protect her clan from whatever is happening.
