one of three hospitals in staten island, the building is a two-campus teaching hospital. the hospital maintains an academic affiliation with the state university of new york.

newly renovated, the landmarked building hosts a variety of activities including educational programs, television and film shoots, concerts, and comedy shows.

a quiet island out of the way of the city, it was the gateway for millions of immigrants but now it has been converted to a museum. this place makes a great meeting place.

small and uninhabited, this island is best known as the location of the statue of liberty. the statue has become the image of freedom for americans.

new york city is dotted with various marinas and docks, some used for business while others are used for personal entertainment. they are one of the main ways to enter the city and outlying islands.
